Release Info:
A limited edition LP featuring demos and live performances dating back to the late 1960s and early 1970s
This reissue was pressed using the original master matrices of a 200 copy numbered LP originally released in 2019. It comes in 6 different versions, all on colored vinyl, featuring various large stickers applied to the clear outer sleeve. The first 16 copies include the "Castiles" sticker and a bonus single sided 7inch 45 RPM vinyl featuring "Baby I", the first single ever recorded by The Castiles (Bruce's early band). The remaining copies are divided into batches of 17 to 18 copies each, featuring different stickers, making a total run of 104 vinyl records.
Around six months later, another version was pressed as a numbered limited edition of 51 copies "the 2nd Run", this time in a multicolor variant on a translucent red base, featuring either a white or cardboard colored sleeve with the same large sticker applied.
Unlike standard pressed records, this bonus 7inch is a lathe cut vinyl, individually crafted using a specialized cutting machine. Once finished, it plays just like any standard record, though it is perhaps closer in nature to an acetate.
Listening to this LP will take you right back to the early days of Bruce Springsteen.
