Release Info:
Released in a black box with a black and white insert, which was not always glued to the box.
As you can see in the insert, in the lower right corner, there is a white rectangle. This was placed here to show the number of the release, which had a maximum issue of 1000 copies. These numbers did not appear on the original release.
The three vinyl s inside the box (White, Red and Blue, marbled), have white fake labels of "The GREATEST BANDS IN ALL THE LAND", used only on the original pressings.
The subsequent copies, have always been printed with the same matrices, even the vinyl s are always the same colour, but the colours are exchanged between them, (Red, White and Blue) but they are less marbled and the labels are blank and of a different colour (Yellow, Blue and White).
The insert is clearly photocopied, the print is more faded and with less detail, and it also has the same rectangle in the lower right for the numbering.
The numbering appears on several copies of this second pressing, it is not known how many copies are numbered, but I believe much less than 1000, the others are unnumbered.
It was then reprinted, it is said in Germany, on three black vinyl records and the matrix numbers scribbled on, the labels are fake labels, from "Hamber Records" or others.
In these reprints plain white covers are used with a photocopied black and white insert, or with a white and orange wraparound insert.
The matrix engravings have been erased.
Recorded live at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on August 18, 1978.
