Release Info:
"Fire On The Fingertips" is one of the two or three most reprinted bootleg titles of all time, an incredible number of versions and colours.
But like everything, there is always a beginning, therefore, the first was a release made in the UK in very limited numbers, very difficult to find, the cover filtered in red and black with a photograph of Bruce from 1978, on black vinyl, with anonymous red labels and the matrix engraved "UK 4 - 1/2".
The subsequent pressings were made with the same plates, but on red, blue and orange vinyl.
Reissued a couple of years later in the USA, with re-engraved plates with "HR-1-33-A/B" matrix, identical covers, but with the image a little darker, losing some details, vinyl’s of various colours and various labels, for example red marble, grey marble, violet marble, orange marble translucent, black, blue translucent etc.
These copies are immediately recognisable by the darker colour of the covers but also by the engraving of the grooves which are much narrower and leave a good piece uncut on the vinyl.
The second reissue was on black vinyl with red labels and titles, the "ROUGE A/B" matrix, then also reissued by TAKRL on picture disc and on black vinyl with various white, pink, small, large inserts, various labels, or no labels , but the rarest version is the one on transparent green vinyl, only 20 copies (approx.) made, as part of a series of titles always with transparent green vinyl’s, with a wraparound cover with anonymous white sleeves, and the "FIRE A/B" matrix.
Finally, also reissued on multicolour vinyl by Verizel.
The tracks on the back cover are wrong.
