"We Got A Long Night, A Special Nigh Little Steven Will Come To Play Tonight" is a vinyl record that reproduces the final part of the fantastic show in East Rutherford, NJ on August 20, 1984, when Miami
Steve Van Zandt (Little Steven) was a guest on stage.
The original pressing was of 300 numbered copies, the first five printed copies were kept by the producers as personal copies (like a Test Pressing). The original pressings had the numbers written with a gold coloured marker pen; the five ‘Test Pressings’ were initialled with names, again written with a gold coloured marker.
The cover is an enveloping laminated cover, in black and white, on the back in the bottom right corner a box with the numbering, the anonymous white labels with "Side A" and "Side B" printed.
It was never reissued by them, but someone managed to steal the plates and duplicate them, putting different matrix numbers and reprinting the copies on both black and green dark vinyl, and thus making easy money.
So, in addition to the 300 numbered copies of the first pressing, there are an unknown number of repressed copies on black and green dark vinyl, with cardboard sleeve but without numbering, the labels are an anonymous light grey.
After this another LP was released called "Good Old Friends". This used the same original plates; the same matrix numbers, but the title and cover were changed.
